My experience with Oak Valley Designs was surprisingly delightful given purchasing stair treads isn't always the most exciting thing. I had some confusion when ordering, so I asked for a call to help me clarify my order when I submitted it. Becca, the Customer Service Specialist who called me, was absolutely wonderful! These days it's often a struggle to find a company that makes it easy to talk to a live person and it's an added bonus when that person takes the time and makes the effort to be sure to answer any questions you may have. I will definitely be using them again!

I ordered stairs treads, landing carpet and an entry carpet in the Vista grey/blue. The entire experience was good. I needed to call for some assistance and the customer service was both friendly and helpful. I really enjoy doing business with companies in the south. They are still getting it correct. The quality is great. The lead time may be a factor for some but for me it was not because I was thorough in determining how long it would take. I was prepared for a delay. The good thing about waiting is that you are able to choose from a large selection of styles and colors and actually get something you want. The value is definitely there. We just received our stair covers and they are fabulous! The owners worked with me to measure correctly and pick a color that worked for our home. The runner pads are great quality and look fabulous!

Outstanding product! We ordered stick on runners for our stairs and they look and work fantastic. Only issue was that they were on back order for a couple of months.

I can’t rave about these enough! I was looking for a less permanent option to a stapled-in runner. I didn’t want holes in my stairs or to have to refinish the stairs when the carpet ultimately gets gross in a few years. By luck, I stumbled across oak valley on an instagram reel and I am SO GLAD I did! They were so easy to install and they are gorgeous! Did they take a long time to come in? Yes. Was the communication great? Meh. Am I mad about it? Not really. Because I get it. Life happens. They are going through a growth spurt and are trying to juggle and work through it. I get it. A huge amount of growth obviously means they are doing something right and I’m quite happy for them. I love to see a small business thrive. Patience and understanding go a long way and I’m sad to see that a lot of consumers in these reviews lack those qualities. And really, these are stair treads. I wasn’t waiting on dinner or medical care. I didn’t need these asap. I am beyond happy that I waited because these stair treads are better than I imagined they would be. And guess what? I’m on their website now, about to order some more.
