Step 4 · Patience is Key: Thorough Air Drying

Once your treads are beautifully clean, patience is a virtue! It's absolutely critical to let them air dry completely. Lay them flat in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat, and under no circumstances should you use a clothes dryer. The heat from a dryer will undoubtedly damage the fibers and, more importantly, compromise the integrity of the adhesive backing that provides our signature secure grip. Before you return these vital safety elements to your staircase, double-check that they are thoroughly, unequivocally dry. This ensures perfect adhesion, prevents any moisture-related issues, and keeps your stairs safe and stylish for years to come. That's The Oak Valley Difference!

Oak Valley Designs Pro Tip

Ensure treads are completely dry before reattaching to preserve the adhesive backing and maintain a secure grip.
