About the full video

This project details how to upgrade a standard bathroom exhaust fan grille to a modern, frameless 'Framed Exhaust Mount' from the AR A Life Collection. The process involves carefully removing the old grille, expanding the existing ceiling opening using the new frame as a template, removing the old fan housing, installing the new frame, reinserting the original fan motor into the new frame, and finally, attaching the new flush-mount grille for a cleaner, updated look.

Step 2 of 6: Cut Ceiling Opening

Using a drywall saw or reciprocating saw, carefully cut along the marked lines on the ceiling. Be cautious of any wires or pipes that may be present above the ceiling. Cut slightly inside the lines to allow for minor adjustments.
