What happens in this clip

The key is to have the roller almost dry to the touch to prevent paint from seeping under the stencil edges. Apply the paint to the stencil with light, even pressure, rolling over the stencil openings multiple times to build up the color. Avoid pressing too hard, as this can force paint under the stencil. For intricate areas, a stencil brush can be dabbed onto the stencil instead of rolling.
