Apply Paint to Stencil

What happens in this clip

Pour a small amount of your chosen paint into a paint tray. Load your dense foam roller or stencil brush with a minimal amount of paint. This is a critical step: roll off or dab off almost all excess paint onto a paper towel or the dry part of the paint tray. The roller or brush should feel almost dry to the touch. Apply the paint through the stencil using a light, even rolling motion with the foam roller or a gentle dabbing motion with a stencil brush. Build up the color gradually with thin layers rather than attempting one thick coat, which increases the risk of paint bleeding.
