What happens in this clip
Fill all nail holes and any gaps or cracks between the newly installed trim boards and the existing wall or window frame using wood filler. Once the wood filler is dry, sand the entire surface of the wood trim and any filled areas smooth with 100-grit sandpaper. Also, sand the corners of the trim to round them slightly, making them less sharp, which is especially useful in homes with children. Additionally, sand any textured areas of the drywall adjacent to the trim to ensure a smooth transition, giving the appearance of one seamless board after painting.
