What happens in this clip
Once the PVC skirt boards are precisely cut, take them to the stair structure. Temporarily pin the skirt boards in place using a couple of finish nails. This allows for initial positioning and enables minor adjustments to ensure the skirt is perfectly plumb and aligned with the stair stringers before more permanent fastening.
